Matthew Kane is the founder of Banner Real Estate Appraisals. He is FHA approved
and has a Certified Residential Appraiser License in NJ and Pa. He currently lives in Voorhees, NJ
and he also has a house in Stone Harbor,
NJ and a condominium in Bryn Mawr, Pa.
He grew up in Wynnewood, Pa and
attended St. Coleman's School and Lower Merion High School in Ardmore, Pa.
He graduated from Drexel University in Philadelphia with a degree in
mathematics. After graduation he married and moved to the East Falls
section of Philadelphia. He started work for RCA in Camden, NJ as
Principal Programmer Analyst. He later moved to Havertown, Pa where he
lived for 14 years. He then worked for Medical Management Resources and
Per Se Technologies (MMR) in Gibbsboro, NJ as Vice President of System
Development. After that he worked for Medquist Corp in Marlton, NJ as an
Application Developer.
Years later he started work as a real estate salesperson and
appraiser apprentice for Bruce Associates, Inc in Stratford, NJ. Then he
became a real estate appraiser for Charles Moles Real Estate in
Norristown Pa. While in this position he gained experience with almost
every type of residential appraisal, including ERC, purchase, refinance,
divorce, estate tax, tax appeal, FHA, Fannie Mae foreclosure and REO.
He completed his licensing courses at the Appraisal Institute
classes held in Glassboro, NJ and is currently pursuing an SRA designation.
